The Beard Doesn’t Grow on the Cheeks: the Reasons for the Problem and the Solution to It

A clean-shaven face is not in fashion; the more vegetation a man has on his face and the thicker it is, the more often he attracts the attention of women. A beard is a sign of masculinity if it’s thick and well-groomed. Vegetation looks ridiculous when the hairs have different lengths or colors, split, or stick out in different directions. Some men face a challenge when growing facial hair; their beards don’t grow on the cheeks or grow slowly, resulting in bald spots.

Why does the beard grow poorly on the cheeks?

  1. The skin of the face is excessively dry or oily, and proper care is not carried out.
  2. There are few follicles in this area, which is genetically determined.
  3. Early age – facial hair begins to grow intensively closer to the age of 30.
  4. Constant stress, lack of sleep, and bad habits.
  5. Lack of physical activity and sedentary work.
  6. Unbalanced nutrition.
  7. The presence of chronic diseases and constant intake of certain drugs, especially hormonal ones, can affect beard growth, including on the cheeks. To make facial hair dense everywhere, you need to learn how to take care of it and reconsider your nutrition.

What to do to grow a beard on your cheeks:

  1. Eat nuts, eggs, meat, and fish dishes, along with vegetable oils and herbs. Give up fast food and fatty products. If overweight, consider going on a diet.
  2. Cleanse your skin daily and nourish it with creams, lotions, and oils. Rub castor oil into problem areas once every three days.
  3. Massage your face with fingers, a soft brush, or rollers to improve blood circulation.
  4. Engage in sports, with power loads being an ideal option. If that doesn’t suit you, go for a daily jog, ride a bike, or go swimming.
  5. Shave properly using a sharp and safe razor that doesn’t injure the skin. Aim the blade in the direction of hair growth and not against it. Avoid pressing the razor against the skin during the process. Before shaving, steam the surface of your skin with hot water.
  6. Take vitamins for a month every six months.
  7. Go to bed earlier to ensure at least 8 hours of sleep per day. Consider a sedative in times of stress. It won’t hurt to schedule an appointment with a psychotherapist if you’re experiencing a bad mood, persistent irritability, or restless sleep.
